Thank You Assembly

On Friday Mr. Elgy, our Chair of Governors and myself attended the afternoon assembly.

It was lovely to hear and see what the children had been learning about during the last week. All the children were proud to show their work and tell everyone a little bit about it.

Mr. Elgy then spoke a little bit about when he was at Haggonfields School and how long ago it was since he was a pupil here, the children worked out it was 48 years!! He also talked about the work that teachers do in school and the importance of thanking them.

As a governing body at our last meeting it was unanimous that we should thank Mrs. Piper and Miss. Ledger both for inspirational teaching which contributed to the excellent progress made by the pupils. Mrs. Piper for Y6 performance, and Miss. Ledger for her work in the EYFS unit and SENCO.

Well done to both of them!

Annette Phillipson (Parent Governor)
